Sound design is one of my favorite ways to explore and shape the world around me. Through foley art, field recording, sound collection, sampling, editing, processing, and creative experimentation, I enjoy transforming everyday sounds into immersive sonic experiences. I am fascinated by the way sound can evoke emotion, spark imagination, and transport us to places both real and imagined.
My approach combines the art of listening with the craft of audio production. From the initial recording process through editing, processing, layering, and mixing, I enjoy painting with sound and using creative techniques to uncover unexpected textures, atmospheres, and possibilities. Whether building detailed soundscapes, designing sonic environments, or incorporating found sounds into music, I am always searching for new ways to tell stories through audio.
Most recently, I began work on a new multimedia project, Sounds of Svalbard, inspired by Svalbard, Norway. Alongside music influenced by the landscapes, wildlife, and atmosphere of the Arctic, the project incorporates original field recordings I collected throughout the region.
